Information the scorecard saves

After the initial project profile, we ask for a name and email address so the assessment can be saved and recovered. We then save the project context supplied, answers, completed section, calculated scores, result band, timestamps and limited source information such as campaign or referral codes. Optional telephone, question, requested next step and marketing choices are saved only if provided.

Magic-link and project portal access

We use the email saved with the assessment to issue a time-limited access link. Before completion, that link returns to the next unfinished assessment section. After completion, it opens the read-only project portal. The link is stored as a one-way hash rather than readable link text. Anyone holding the delivered link may be able to view that project record, so it should not be forwarded. You may ask us to expire and replace it.

How the information is used

We use it to operate and improve the Start-Ready assessment, preserve the result, identify incomplete assessments, respond to a requested next step and understand which sources generate useful enquiries. Marketing updates are optional and require a separate choice.

Analytics cookies

Google Analytics is used only after you select “Allow analytics”. It measures visits and completed actions so we can understand how the public Start-Ready site is used. We do not send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, project details, assessment answers or evidence content to Google Analytics. You can decline analytics or change your choice using the cookie settings control.

Professional and confidential information

The scorecard is a preliminary self-assessment. Do not enter confidential project documents, special-category personal data or information that is not necessary to answer the questions.

Decision Pack requests

If you request the £395 Decision Pack, we save the assessment reference where available, contact details, project location, the decision you are approaching, its target date and the uncertainty you describe. This assessment-led product does not request project evidence for verification.

Evidence-led professional review records

If a separate Resolution Plan or legacy evidence-led review is accepted, the private record may include document names, dates, revisions, verification status, source references, material findings, actions, project-scoped contacts, responsibilities, decisions, evidence requests, guide state, reviewer notes and immutable report versions. Document bytes are held in private object storage and served only through a valid project access route. Analytics contains controlled workflow metadata, not confidential evidence content.

Service providers and international processing

The Site and its integrations use technology service providers, including Google for consent-based website analytics and Microsoft for service email. Those providers may process information outside the United Kingdom under their applicable contractual and data-protection arrangements.

Retention and your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable legal and record-keeping obligations. Service correspondence should be sent through the relevant Start-Ready contact route.
